Ektha Parchuri, BA, MPH

Ektha Parchuri is a medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, with the Class of 2027. Prior to medical school, Ektha worked as a clinical research coordinator, overseeing multi-center trials within the Department of Medicine, while also pursuing an MPH in Epidemiology at Pitt's School of Public Health. Ektha's research interests are centered on connecting public health initiatives with the study of injury outcomes in marginalized communities. She places a particular emphasis on investigating the influence of behavioral health factors on pain within these populations. In addition to these academic interests, Ektha enjoys spending time with family and exploring the Pittsburgh dining scene.
